Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our sales team in promoting and selling medical supplies to healthcare facilities, professionals, and institutions. This role involves administrative tasks, customer service, and assisting with sales activities to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying potential clients and organizing sales visits
Prepare sales materials, including brochures, presentations, and product samples
Support the sales team in preparing quotes, proposals, and contracts
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and sales activities
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns
Assist in organizing and attending trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings
Provide administrative support, such as scheduling appointments and managing correspondence
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the medical supplies industry
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and materials
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is advantageous
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of medical terminology and the healthcare industry is a plus
